Special visit from Natalie Suleyman MP for St. Albans to Mata Chintapurni Hindu Temple St Albans. The visit was in support of the proposed new Temple building at 4 Charles St St. Albans. Natalie also showed a lot of support and consideration for all those impacted by Covid19 in India. We appreciate the support of the local MP during this time

Permits received for conversion of warehouse to community centre – fundraising started

The temple has received approval from Brimbank City Council to commence with the construction to convert the current warehouse space at 4 Charles St St.Albans VIC 3021 into a place of worship.

The total cost of this project is expected to be $950,000.

The time frame for this project is 5 months.

The project is due to commence on 15 March 2021 and be completed by 1 September 2021.

Aim of the project:

The project will include the construction of the main prayer hall for all devotees as well as a dining hall and commercial kitchen for the provision of food to community members. There will also be a dedicated library built with dharmic texts.
